CDN for S3 Buckets
CDN connectivity is available for S3 (Simple Storage Service) solutions
To connect an S3 bucket to CDN you need to:
- Find your S3 provider in the list of available providers
- Create an S3 resource by specifying your S3 provider parameters and wait for the corresponding task to complete
- The task status can be tracked using its identifier
- Upon successful task completion, the created resource will appear in the resources list
- The
cdn_s3_domainfield of the previously created resource contains the CDN domain name - Create an S3 bucket by specifying the bucket name. Any number of buckets can be connected under one resource, each manageable separately
- To access files via CDN, replace the hostname in the URL provided by the S3 provider with the
cdn_s3_domainvalue
info
The URL for accessing a bucket via CDN doesn't depend on how the original bucket URL was formed
https://{provider_hostname}/{bucket_name}/{filename}https://{bucket_name}.{provider_hostname}/{filename}
Both URLs above will transform into:
https://{cdn_s3_domain}/{bucket_name}/{filename}
